Who is a Wanderer – What I am Searching
A “Wanderer” who is someone who doesn’t fit in our society, In our society, when a child is born, society forces the kid to follow their culture, traditions, and lifestyle. They even force their “mindset” to the kid who doesn’t know anything about this world. When you see a Hindu child they follow their tradition when you see a Muslim child they follow their religion. Still, they never ask why they are doing this; If they ask their parents or the society, they will shut down his mouth because they have gone through the same conditions when they would have asked this to their parents. Society doesn’t even know why they are forced to follow something which is out of their experiences.
Why we are just living a life without knowing what we are doing. When we were in our childhood days, our parents and society told us to study well, get a good job, get married to a “beautiful” girl, have some kids and live your life. This seems to be very easy, but in reality, it is very complicated. Let’s start step by step:
Study for a Good Life:
So we have been asked to study well so you can live a happy life and what if we don’t study well? Can’t we live a happy life if we don’t study well? Why they force us to study what they have decided for us. In schools, they don’t teach us what we need to live a happy life. I feel we have already lost the meaning of a happy life. If you see today’s kids they are not living their childhood anymore; they are forced to study hard; they have forgotten that they are kids, and they need to learn much more than just these books, which is worthless. Why don’t we teach our children how to live a happy life? How to face the challenges? How to help each other? How to learn from the mistakes? How to not waste our lives living a so-called “Ideal Life.”
We are just killing the childhood of our children by forcing them to live an Artificial life, and this is not the beginning of life, but unfortunately, it’s a virtual death of a soul who is just trying to understand this world.
Get a Good Job:
You need money if you want to survive in this world, so every parent wants their kids to get a good job so he can settle in his life. But the question is, how many of you are happy with your job? I am sure 95% are not satisfied because they are not doing what they want to do in their life. You might be wanted to be a singer, but you are working for 10 hours in front of a computer and doing the same work daily which you don’t like. Life is tough for them because they are forced to live a life which they don’t want. Humans have the basic needs of Food, Home, and Clothes (Roti, Kapda Aur Makaan).
Just take an example of a person named “Nemo,” so Nemo was a good student and got a good job in a big MNC, and he is living a good life, which is not good but right according to society. He goes to the office and complete the office work and come back home, watches Netflix, or TV for hours, and goes back to sleep. Again the same routine on a daily basis. But what is he doing with his life? One good day he will get married to a girl, will have some kids, and he will continue living the same life until he retires. Once Nemo is retired, he won’t have much energy to survive on his own, he will spend all the time in a room.
This is not the story of Nemo, but this is the story of everyone who is living this kind of life and how many of us living this type of life? The answer is 99.99% of people are living this kind of life. What will you do with a kind of life?
Get Married to a “Beautiful” Girl and Have Kids:
Once you have got a good job, the society will ask you again and again when you are getting married; once you get married, then society will ask you when are you going to have kids? When you have one kid, they will ask you when you are going to have the second kid? So basically the society is controlling your life because you have been taught to get married once you are earning a good amount of money. But why don’t you use that money to explore the world?
You are in this world to experience the beauty of this world, not to live a life where you have to spend your life working in front of a computer? You got married and got a good wife who understands you then good for you and what if you get a wife with whom you are not happy at all but still living. They say we need someone to live our life, but no one tells us that we don’t need to get married for that. Why are you getting married just to complete your duties to society?
And once you have a kid, you spend at least 20 years for his education and that 20 years is going to be an Unofficial signed bond that now you are going to work harder and harder to earn money to give your child a good life but what about your life? You are a slave for the next 20 years, and once your child is grown up, he will also follow the same lifestyle as you are following because you are the once who taught him this way to live and waste his life.
I am someone who is also living a life which is all of you are living, but for many years I am trying to get rid of this system to live a life where I have to not think about anything but to think about only exploring this world. I am a wanderer who is just wandering without any destination in his mind. Yes, I am a wanderer, a lost wanderer who now knows he is not lost in this society.
I am not going to spend my life living a life in which I will regret when I have no energy to enjoy and travel.
